97 250 powerstroke needs winterizing
Hi...I'm new here and not great on computers. My Ford was bought in Florida
and I have recently moved to North Michigan ...I am told I need a coolant
heater since my truck is not equiped with stuff Northern trucks are.
The local auto part store has universal kits to get the engine ready to start
in 0 degree weather. I'd like some recommendations as to what to buy and
what to do so I don't have to pay almost $400 which is what the local
Ford dealer wants to get my truck winter ready. How hard is installing these
heaters? Any info will sure be appreciated....the weather is getting cool here
already (seems to this southern boy)
