Fish Tailing
Gotta be SHARP on these forum things!
The traction problem in normal driving conditions is why I like Air Lockers.
You can turn them on when needed :-)

My truck has LS. The LS provides more traction, and does make it harder to spin the back tires. Instead of breaking loose one tire with less traction, you have to break loose both tires. However, when you DO break the tires loose, it will fishtail much worse than a truck with an open diff would. My stepbrother had a 94 Ranger 4.0 with open diff. He could spin the rear tire easily on dry pavement, or wet, and still be plenty steerable. With my 98 4.0 with LS and 31" tires, it's pretty hard to break the tires loose on dry pavement, which translates to more power on the road. It's easy to spin them on wet pavement though, and not very steerable. I prefer limited slip to lockers, for the overall driveability and costs. I suppose if I was rock crawling, I would want a locker. Just my 2 cents...
