i have a 1007 f150 reg cab and i knew that the headliner was sagging in it. but today i discovered that it was damp feeling dure to the rain today. the closer to the back window i got the wetter it got. so i need to know how to remove the headliner to find out where its comeing from and see if i can fix it. being that i need to reglue the headliner anyway i might as well try it from the inside. thanks for any help.
You need to remove all the plastic trim around it, such as the a-pillar, the trim up by the seat belt. You'll need to remove the shoulder belt as well. Remove the sunvisors, and then the screws up in the light. It soul;d drop down from there. Then wiggle it out the passenger door. It's a bit of a big job. I had to pull mine out of my extra cad. @#$#@ barely made it out the door!
thanks for the info, i am hoping the job will go good. might take a few beers to complete. plus trying to find the leak is not going to be a fun job. i am hoping it is just comeing from around the third brake light.
