4R100 shifting correctly?
I have a 2002 superduty f250 7.3 4x4 and into reverse or drive from a stop with light throttle there is a whine/squeal, I was told by a trans shop that this is the torque converter and a common problem and that I should replace the converter with a billet one, also when the trans shifts at approx 42mph it flares up or allows the engine to rev up a bit before the shift happens, yet at the shift just before at approx 35mph or any of the other shifts they are firm without any slippage, any help, opinions, past experience would be greatly appreciated. This is a new trans with a rebuilt converter and has less than 200 miles on it.
