Question Jumpy Tach.....did I do the points wrong?

I have one of those little aftermarket tachometers on my steering column...I've noticed that since I switched out my ignition components (cap, rotor, point, condenser, plug and wires....oh yeah, the coil too) that is seems to be a bit twitchy.....It may have been doing it before but I didn't notice. Anyway, here's what it's doing....at about 3000 RPM it does these little dives to say, 2600 ans accationally down to around 2100.....the engine seems to be running even....so what gives....are my point a little off....is it grounding somewhere? Any clues?

It might just be the tach itself.
