I would assume that you could fit 33's with a 3inch lift, but don't quote me on it. I couldn't find info on anything past 2000. But you should be able to fit 31's with everything stock, so to me, 33 seems like it would fit.

You can fit 32's stock. with a 3" lift I'd say 34's would look real nice under there....but watch your width. a 34x10.5 would probably fit, but a 34x11.5 might be cutting it close. just watch for rub.

I've seen this link many times on this site, I was refered to it about my ranger by a fellow FTE'er.
I have a 85 Ranger with a 6" lift on it and the site listed states that I can fit 33 X 12.50 on my truck. I do have those on right now but if I have to turn the wheels sharp they rub. I would check for rubbing once you get them on. If possible find a friend with the size you want and swap tires to check before you purchase them.

I've seen 235/85R16 BFG AT KO's on a stock '99. (only mod was to tighten torsion bars and adjusted alignment) But I rounded up, they are 31.8"x9.3" with a 7.9" section hieght. Those .2" might make all the difference, though.....I haven't seen it turn up a hill so I don't know....i'll try and get a pic and check out the rubbing status.
