Problem: Brake Pedal Squeal?
Hi,
I have a 2000 F-350SD SRW V10. Brakes are newer. Lately, I've been having two issues. Dunno if they are related.
1) Brakes are "loose." When I'm stopped at a red light, it requires me to push the brake pedal down quite a considerable distance. If I don't, I start to roll forward ever so slightly...
2) When I'm already stopped and I push the brake pedal almost (about 95%) down the the bottom, I get this odd squealing noise. It seems to come from the inside of the truck, not outside on the brakes. But when I push the brake pedal all the way down, the noise stops. As long as I hold the pedal in the position with the squeal, it will continue to squeal. I've timed the squeal at 30 seconds so far.
Anybody have any suggestions on what's up?
