2V vs. 3V V10

I was told by the dealer when I bought my new 05 that the
3v v10 is an even 2 seconds faster in the 1\4mile than the old
2v v10
Ive barely revved mine over 2500 rpm so far so its tuff to tell
but it feels plenty capable of the work I will require of it
