Disconnecting battery

I'm in the process of installing additional switches for various aftermarket items and will need to disconnect battery to install an additional 2ga. 12v feed wire to a 8 circuit fuse block and a 2ga. for my 12k winch. If I disconnect the battery, will it cause any problems with the truck? I know about the stereo loosing it's memory but anything else to worry about?

normally no but the best way is to buy one of those 9volt gismo's that plugs into the lighter port to keep the computer memory hot.

You have to disconnect battery every time you mess the car. (maintenance)
