Question Build Date Question?

I am trying to determine the build date of my engine.

I checked the drivers side valve cover per advice from this forum and I see the following:

2461/9813/2

VIN Number

How do I dtermine the build date frm this?

All the one's I have seen are on the passenger side valve cover. Could be wrong but that is where I saw them when we were looking for our new SD.

It has a month and year date on the sticker. I saw it when we were shopping for my wifes new truck. I was making sure none of the 04's had an 03 motor.

I am about to give up...
How hard can it be...
C'mon guys where do you post pictures?
What kinda sense does it make to restrict people from using the search feature?
This is getting a bit silly.

The build date may be on the fuel injector control module(FICM) that is where mine was and it had to be replaced at 368 miles and all the information was lost and have been unable to get any other info or a build date since. The FICM is located on the drivers side right under the master cylinder and right above the rear of the valve cover. It is about a 8" square. Hope this helps as I was led to believe it should be on the valve cover too. 04 F250 6.0
