- Was there a tacometer and clock option for the 1981 F-150? My '81 is a custom and has no clock or tach and I would like to add them using actual Ford parts. Can anyone offer any insite in this matter? Thanks!
Yes, the tach goes in the center of the dash between the 4 gauges and the speedometer. The clock is a digital unit that goes in the 3 blank rectangles above the radio. I've heard of analog clocks too, but have never seen one. A poke around a few local junkyards can usually find what your looking for, or check ebay.
Yep they were offered, you can get these from the wreckers fairly easy. But if you do a search you can find out how to install them, and you can use a tach and clock from 80 to 86 for f-150's-F-350's.
