Burning flex-fuel?

Thanks Ken for the reply. Lack of response since posting thread told me a lot. :-( Kinda wonder why FMC even mfg'd the flex fuel engine for no more interest than what I've found. Oh well....

Back when they decided it was a good idea, ethanol was being viewed as the alternative fuel of the future. Ford was trying to be visionary I guess. As noted, it wasn't a very popular idea. I like seeing that little flex fuel sticker on trucks. It means I can smoke 'em off the line.

I would gladly use E85 as opposed to gasoline even if it would cost more. I am all forkeeping as much money here at home as possible. It is not available in my area unfortunately. I know mine runs much smoother and gets better gas mileage (1-2) running the 10% blend that is available here.
