Hey guys, taking my waverunner out to the ocean tommorrow with a bunch of others for a huge meet. This time of year your aloud to drive on the beach, my questions are should I have it any other drive (a4wd,4H,or 4L)? or just leave it in 2w.. what should I drop the tire pressure too? right now im at 30f and 35r. thanks for any tips/advise.
on a second note, I just did my brake pads/rotors for the front of my truck and it cost me 86 bucks for everything, and it was very easy to do. If anyone of you have a friend that works at a auto store ask them to order you some parts at there price.. you'll save alot of dough!
I always drive in 2wd and use 4wd to get me out of a sticky situation. If you are in 4wd and get stuck, then there is no option to get out. I learned that driving in 4wd will allow you to get so badly stuck, that a tow truck would have a hard time getting you out.
It all depends on the condition of the beach. Here at Assateague National Park the sand is typically very loose, so loose 4wd is required if you don't have decent tires. For example I can't make it anywhere with my stock tires, but with a set of BFG AT tires 2wd is all that is needed.
