V-10 Longevity

How many miles will the V-10 go? Also, the one I am looking at is 2001, with 90,xxx miles. Asking price is $20,000. Does this seem like a good deal?

2001 V-10

Just some info to guide you: I picked up a 2001 SC SB V-10 XLT 4x2 in Sept 2003 with 14,500 miles. Truck rides and looks new. Paid under $20,000.

I can find a 2001 F-250, V10 4x4, with 70,000 miles here in FL for about $15k to $16k. 20k Sounds high to me. Good luck, I'm in the market for the same truck with a deisle. I turned one down for 19k. I'm still looking for the perfect truck at the perfect price.

That seems pretty high. I picked mine up in 2003 for just under 21K. It's also an 01 and it had under 12,000 miles on it. CC 4x4 LB XLT and I bought in Jan winter of course when 4x4's seem to go up. For some more money you can pick up a brand new one.

Sounds a little high to me also.

I got my '01 two years ago with 70k on it for $18,500.00 Now has 114k with only one repair needed. (New fuel pump)

'01 F250, V10, Extended cab, 4x4 XLT.

Thanks for all the help. I think I might wait and see what kind of year end sales the dealers have.
