think about it are you brain washed or brain dead.?
yesterday i was looking for a small pick ups for my daughter ran across a ranger. She wouldnt even look at it cuz "it a ford " This is a dodge family but she wouldnt even look at it.So i guess they listen to all the ragging we doto each other more than i thought. So if thats the case then when they get older they become brain dead to other brands ! think about it and give an honest answer.
Yeah it seems people will always follow what their family has done for years-If your dad/mom is a chevy guy/girl (trying to be pc) then the kids in the family-if interested in cars and trucks-will most likely be brand biased. Growing up my father worked as a manager for a ton of different brands from Volvo-Chevy and I learned the good and bad things of each vehicle to my personal preference. Then I got a job at a dealership and got to drive tons and tons of different vehicles daily and I really got to experience the differences in cars.
Only against the (SNIP) imports oh & DODGE & GM products!

Do not psot defamatory words or phrases, in any variation. The goal of Ford Truck Enthusiasts, Inc. is to be a family friendly service and such content undermines that goal.

There are alot of people on this forum that are so brainwashed to like ford products that they are practically walking zombies. Ford could make just about anything no matter how many flaws and they would defend it. Out of all the brand loyalists I have to say ford fans are the least objective
i was raised to appreciate vehicles in general and i leaned toward ford at a young age, my wife was raised to love chevies, chevies can do no wrong. well a little bit after we got married she traded her s-10 for a taurus, and later the taurus for a windstar that she refuses to get rid of for a newer vehicle.
i aint brainwashed, ive just had better luck with fords than any other brand
(ive owned Gm, dodges, and ford)the ford all lasted over 200,000 miles the other ones didnt

I have no solid brand loyalty, I don't care what badge it wears, as long as I like the serviceability and reliability and driveability. I will admit I have preferences, but it is based on experience, rahter than what I am told, but then that's the nature of my family, it isn't about what brand, but how it serves it's purpose.
I've owned different brands of vehicles through the years. The only new vehicles I buy are Ford products. They're the ones that my wife and I trust for daily use. They seem to be the most dependable and trouble-free of the 'real' vehicles out there...(V8 RWD cars and trucks.) Most of the vehicles I've 'played with'...restored, showed, fixed and sold, are GM 60's and 70's stuff. They made some nice ones, and there's money to be made with them. To many guys I know are 'Chevro-lazy'...they won't even consider something else. Even though they've had tons of problems with them, the still go back and buy another. "Yeh...I've had my Blaser back to the dealer 18 times in the last two years...Think I'm gonna trade it on an S-10 next week." I don't get it.
