I am building a 351w for a 86 bronco. i was wondering if i could get some opinions on cams from you guys. I'm gonna run a rebuilt block bored .030, forged pistons, non-roller cam, windsor jr. aluminium heads, edlebrock performer rpm air gap intake, holley 700 double pumper carb, 2000 rpm stall,c6 trans. I don't care too much about drivablility as this is not my daily driver. I just want the max performance. I plan on using it for beach driving, sand drags, and occasionl towing. Any help is much appreciated. thanks
Take a look at the Comp Cams Xtreme 4x4 cam line. The cams have lots of grunt. I would also look at a Holley Truck Avenger carb instead of the double pumper. Try www.compcams.com page 84 of the catalog or call 1 800 999 0853.
