have a 84 bronco with 300 6 and 1 barrel feedback carb. bought it approx 6-8 months ago and it runs perfect.
would like to check timing, but....
where in the world is the spout connector? it has a tfi dist so i obviously have to unplug something. i know what the standard ford spout looks like but can't find it anywhere near (or anywhere else) around the tfi module.
read the sticker under hood. it says to unplug the black wire near dist. as we all know nearly all 300's are filthy, but the only wire that was black did not have a plug.
sorry for long drawn out post.
my 1st post but been reading and also wanted to say hello. wasn't a big fan of the 300 but after reading all of your posts ill give it a chance before i drop a 351 in that i have sitting around. plan on towing my drag car in the next couple of weeks, we'll see.
oh yeah, this place used to have a search function, where did it go?

okay, look at your distributor from the driver's side. Just under the cap you'll see a pigtail connector. Follow that back until you see a big inline connector, it looks like a big plastic thing over a wire almost. Grasp each each and pull it apart. It should just pull apart, you may have some flanges you'll have to work with. That's the SPOUT connector.
