a shout out for the spout!

I have searched hi and low and can not find my spout connector at all! I have a 1995 mass air 5.0 in a F-150. I have a 7 wire harness coming out of the dist. which plugs right into it's counterpart and is immediately assimilated into the 2 inch thick wire bundle running along side the injectors. No spout in sight there. I have been told to look around the driver side wheel well near the air box...nothing. Everything i disconnect that looks like it might be it, has no affect on my timing. If someone has any idea where Ford might have hidden it please let me know.

I guarantee you that it is there! It looks like a molded plug with an insert in the end of it. It may be hanging low by the distributer.

On that year model I think you have the EEC IV system which means your spout would be back by the engine comp. which is right around the relay box and cruise control box. Its hanging off of a wire harness but is probably taped to it. It is right on the fender wall as this harness is clipped to the wall if i remember correctly. Mine took forever to find, and it had a gray plug in the end. Hope you find it.

Thanks Jarvis...when you mentioned it being taped i remembered seeing something taped up to it's harness up near the firewall under the brake booster. And Viola! there it was.
