somehow i have aqquired spyware i think....my homepage has been hijacked and now shows up as www.your-searcher.com i've tryed running spybot and it doesn't get rid of it. Anyone know how?

you need to change your home page back to your choice.. depending on what browser you use you should go to tools, or options, then homepage..

There is a cookie from the website, that is changing it back again.... delete all of your cookies, temporary internet files, and temp directories... That will get rid of the cookie.. You may have to do it twice to get rid of it completely..

Try downloading a free version of Zone Alarm, and configure it to secure your computer against unwanted cookies.

Deleting your cookies will log you out of all your password protected sites, so you need to know all your passwords..
