hi yeah i have a 83 f 250 with the 1bbl carb. just wondering what type of gasket is suppose to be between the spacer and the base of the carb. threw the old one out and replaced but leaking think i got the wrong one. for some reason i think it was thin and made of rubber and all i have is various thicknesses of the paper form. so yeah no clue plz guidance.

 

if im not mistaken it is a paper gasket. if it leaks try some rtv sealer (small amounts)with a new gasket, that should do it.
