headlamp switch replacement

how do i do it, what happened to the search option on website

If its the switch type that pulls out - disconnect the batteries. PUll the switch out to full on - reach up to the top of the switch from behind and feel for a little button - push the button and at the same time, remove the pull out. Remove the mounting nut, and take out the switch and remove the wiring. Replace the wires to new switch, reinstall the switch in the hole, tighten the nut and push the pull out all the way into the switch. Reconnect the batteries. Hope it was the switch and not the fuse. Drink beer. Any other type switch, I havent dealt with ---- YET but the drink beer part works for all parts replacement and repairs.
