A newbie here to the room, main issue is fuel milage on front tank 19 G 260 ish to empty (motor dies) v.s rear tank 18 (150ish) to motor dies.Began to show up at around 170000 miles.A 1995 F-250 ,351 EFI 4x4 .4spd auto.Fuel pressures have not been checked yet, performance good on either tank,no cross feeding between tanks, caps and emissions prefect,240000 current. So far no one has an answer.
Asside from fuel pressure issues, perhaps there is more water in the rear tank. Once you think its empty (motor dies) there is always some gas & water left. Try having it drained and see if that helps, but I think you would notice that you are only putting 15 gal back in... just a quick thought if you hadn't checked this yet.

Sorry, left that part out. When the motor does quit ,the tank that was used refills up to the normal capacity.Ft tank refills to 18.8- 19 G,rear refills 17.8-18 G. There are no leaks at the rear tank area .Tank caps were changed.Miles charted with mile markers and gps. This has been going on for some time now and it has everyone stumped. All fuel systems are OEM at this point in time.never touched or opened.
