Well, After replacing the battery and cables with no luck. A friend (who just happens to re-builds engines on the side) came to visit and we took a closer look at the fly wheel and the teeth are ground down. So I am now going to replace the fly wheel and hope that this will work. I now just have to find a fly wheel and then find the time to drop the tranny and replace it. Does anyone happen to know any place that I can look for a fly wheel that is not going to cost me an arm an a leg. Every part store is telling me that is a factory part. Thanks for the info. I will let you know how this works out.
Are there any junkyards close to you?? You can get a good flywheel at a yard, and have it resurfaced at a good machine shop specializing in clutch work. You can probably find some good used parts sites on the web. If you have no luck, I can give you names of some BIG yards here in Pennsylvania. They have EVERYTHING!
I am looking now for a few junk yards in the Northeren Virginia area now. The first one that I stopped at did not have any so I have seen a couple more that I am going to check out. I am hoping that my buddy will find one in Tenn., he said that he should be able to find one. I will let you know if I need some info about any in PA, as long as it is not too long of a drive from here.
