starter problems
Ok guys in need of help my ford has 351m c6 auto trans and i am missing the fly wheel cover between the tranny and motor but i do have washers between the housing of the tranny and starter. My starter will start my truck a few times before it starts whining then i take it off and put it on again and itll do the same thing over and over and im tired of having to do this. My truck will run perfectly fine when it starts. Ive checked the teeth on the flywheel there all fine the starters teeth are fine as well ive gone threw five starters thinking tht was the problem but its clearly not, ive also check the flywheel to see if it was bowed out or not on properly i cant figure it out help me please!!
