air intake modification

I intend to replace mine with a TYMAR, though, just because it is a more professional looking job. Mine works great, has been in place three years through some heavy rains and winters along with 60,000 miles of travel here and there. I have never had a problem with water contamination.

The outer cover is a nylon Outerwear came with the filter. I got it form a vendor in Texas on E bay along with the chip, if I remember the complete setup was $50.00 extra when I got the chip. As far as any difference I don't know because I did the filter and cold air mod directly from the stock air box. Coming from that it made a huge difference less smoke from the tail pipe even in the 140 HP setting on the chip. Sounds cool when I let up on the throttle.
