I have a 1987 Ford E-350 Econoline chassin under a 26 ft. Fleetwood motorhome. The brakes and parking brake system works fine, but the brake warning light stays on.
I ordered a Chilton book for the vehicle, but they don't have much on the parking brake or brake warning sytems in it....wasted money...
Does anyone know if the dash warning light reflects the brake system or the parking brake system condition?
I thought it came on when the parking/emergency brake pedal was pressed???
The parking brake pedal switch has been replaced, but that didn't solve the problem. There are two wires hanging down near the parking brake switch, one hot and the other isn't. I don't know which to use and don't want to short out anythiing.
I am wondering if the master cylinder brake warning light sender is my problem.
Any suggestions??? Thanks!!! Al
