C6 slipping when hot

C6 slipping when hot
I rebuilt my 1976 C6 transmission not to long ago it works fine while it is cold. It starts slipping in reverse, more like a chatter than an out right slip. It also fells like it is dropping out of gear when idling at lights, Fluid level is right where it has to be. The only change other than the usual parts in a rebuild was an different converter. I didn't have this kind of problem before that change. Is it possible converter is bad ans causing the problem or what. Any input would be helpful.
p.s. already done all the pressure checks that can be done with out removing transmission from van.

I found the problem with my transmission it turned out to be the torque converter. The problem was getting worse so I deside to pull trans and change back to the origanal torque converter. needless to say the trans plant was a sucess no more slipping in reverse or feeling like the engine was going to died at any time. Everbody when shearching for a solution to a problem should not over look the least consider part.
