Hey everyone been awhile since I posted on the boards. Im having a problem with my voltage gauge bouncing around. It doesnt do it that often, maybe twice a week, but its getting worse.Sometimes it runs in the red(high) sometimes normal or it "bounces", but never on the low side. I noticed when it was fluctuating I had my heater on and I could hear the blower "surging". Im leaning towards the regulator, but would like some opinions. Im not to inclined on the electrical aspects. BTW its a 92 Explorer 4.0. Its great to be back
Picked up an altenator at the boneyard today($12). My gauge reads right at the "L" on normal whereas before it was higher. Didnt want to buy a new one yet incase it happens to be something else....we'll see how it goes.....thanks again.......
