oilguard install

I am going to install an oilguard system in my '02 F350 tomorrow. The question is, should I be using some sort of high temp. thread sealer, or will regular plumbing pipe dope be sufficient. I don't think the temps. on anything will be all that hot, but I don't want to do the install twice...

Teflon pipe thread sealant is the best to use, but regular pipe dope will work fine. It is available in a paste at most hardware stores. You do not need high temp sealant.

I used teflon thread sealer, everything seems to be fine with the system.
