I know that Tim is working with the folks at Oilguard on a discount for FTE members. I recently bought and installed the Oilguard system on my 05 PSD and Mark at Oilguard gave me the discount that he is planning on offering FTE members once all the details get worked out. The system is very easy to install. I would recommend getting at least 4 extra feet of oil line when ordering becasue it will give you some more choices on where to intall it. I used 13 feet in my install and the kit normally comes with 10 feet. My install took 30 min and no drilling!
Mark at oilguard said that in the interim, he will offer the discount to FTE members who contact him directly. The system for the 6.0 is normally $290 and he will sell it to us at $250 (which is what I paid). Oilguard has a great product and is a sponsor of this site.
Mark and I need to talk...Mark are you reading this......Kew and I ahd soem time at the SEMA show to tlak aobut this and some ohter things.....So Mark call me
250 is an outstanding price....get red it looks very cool under the hood
Just wanted to say thanks for the heads up on the discount on the Oilguard Bypass System, because I just ordered mine last night. I call Mark @ Oilguard and he gave me the discount on my order. he also told me that Oilgaurd is working on some kind of deal with Motorhaven to sell them in the future.
The deal with MotorHaven might take a bit longer, both Mark and Ken are very busy ....stay tuned.............in the mean time, buy as many as you want from OilGuard...
There ya go.....it can extened it, however that is UP to YOU....
Personally it would not matter if I had ten filters on my truck, I change my oil, by how and what I use my vehicle for….
Has nothing to do with filters…IMO
