just to let everyone know. My truck has been in the shop for the past three weeks with the same problem. The relief valve on the coolant bottle is 16lbs and the pressure is running around 20 lbs under heavy acceleration. FORD rep said to change head gaskets. They did that and found the heads to be bad also. So they replaced them to. Now I have broken the pulley off the water pump and I am starting to smell coolant again under heavy acceleration. So go figure. DSB is in the mail.

That is what they are telling me. I don`t know if it broke or the mechanic just didn`t tighten up the bolts. Which ever it broke off. It is also going back in the shop for the same coolant smell.OOOOOOOO they also wanted to charge me another 100$ because this was a different repair. Did I pay it NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
