Does anyone know what the tube that runs on the passenger side of the trans does it looks like a bypass of some type since it goes from the front line hole to the back it's pencil size around and does it have to be there if I have an aftermarket trans.
Sounds like someone put a pipe where the transmission cooler goes? If you tell us more about your truck (the year, especially), maybe someone who knows the obscure details better than I do can chime in with whether it was supposed to have a cooler that year. I think it's part of the "towing prep package" which at some point just became standard equipment.
It may be a bypass line. Some tranny coolers are set up so that the cooler does not see any oil flow until the fluid reaches a certain temp. Your sig says it's a BTS. I would call them and ask about it.
