Improving Flow Thru The Turbo - Help Please
I have read many threads about gutting the EBPV and the CCV mods and have several questions:
EBPV:I want to keep my original EBPV in tact. I have searched high and low for a manufacturer of a EBPV replacement with no success. Does anyone know where I can find an extra EBPV, either already gutted or stock OR a company that makes a replacement for the EBPV for the '96 PSD?
CCV:This mod reduces oil at the turbo boots and in the intercooler, right? I do not have an intercooler so is this mod worhwhile for me? Is there any problem just using a long rubber tube for oil waste as many here have done and removing the oil port from the turbo intake tube? What do I use to plug the hole from the oil port removal and will this help improve flow into my turbo inlet?
Thanks.

JMB,
I just installed a EBPV that I bought from ITP Performance.
Dennis at ITP has access and sells EBPV's that are not even drilled out. These are the factory Garret EBPV's without the holes for the rod and valve. A casting with no holes.
Yes, the CCV mod eliminates an air restriction and also the oil build up in the intercooler tubes and air to air cooler.
BTW JMB, went to the printer today and the decals look good. They have a slight misprint so I want that corrected before I show them to you and members. Should have an answer on Monday.

Hmm, looks like the board has been fixed so that links to companies that don't sponsor the board don't point to them anymore...
The Racor setup can be found here: www.dieselinnovations.com
You'll probably have to copy and paste.
