Highbeams not working
Recently my headlights started giving me a hard time turning on. I would turn them on, but only the parking lights would come on. If you flashed the highbeams, then they would come on. Then suddenly, twenty miles from home at Home Depot, my lights would not come on. I checked everything according to a Haynes repair manual I have and found that the mult-function switch was bad. I bought a new one and now have low beams but the high beams don't work, not if you push forward on the stick or if you pull to flash.

I realize it would be a strange coincidence, but are you sure that the high beam element on your bulbs are good? That being said, you may check the connection on the new multifucntion switch and realize that it's possible you got a bad new part.
