Mulelady: Thanks for the info. Your top looks great and I like the contrast also. Ford's cover seems a little high priced. I really like the idea you have of wiring the lock, that seems like and awesome and convenient feature! The $963 include the carpet too? Thanks!

Yes, included the carpet...the price would be less without the carpet and the keyless lock. I suppose we could live without the remote lock feature....but I have enjoyed the convenience....everything locks up with the master key-ring button the same time you lock the doors....no need to maintain another key and physically go check that the back is locked when you may have valuables stored in there. Another bonus...if my husband wants to load feed and I am inside with the engine running...don't have to move...just pop the button. I can't say this is true, but my husband was concerned about the build up of heat under these typically black bed tops....and thought the lighter color we chose might be a tad cooler ? Another plus....doesn't quite show the dirt as badly as the Green Satin !
