Question about a C6

This guy at work swears up and down that he has a C6 that is bolted to a 302. He says that "it is a small C6". It is my understanding that the C6 only fits the "big" blocks. Is he be correct?

Yes he is. C6 cases came in most all bell housing bolt paterns.

Yup that's right you can get a C6 behind a 302. In the earlier years it was used on the bigger engines but later was put behind the smaller V-8.
