I hate dial-up modems!!!!!

I've about had it with dial-up modems
Keep dumping me off, giving slow speeds !

Does anyone use Directv internet ?

I have the small dish was wondering if its better?

we don't have dsl in the area yet!

Rich I know exactly what you feel like. I used to have dial up until I got a new computer then I got cable! I will never use dial up again!

With any dish internet, you will have snappy downloads but
uploads will still be through the phone line.
Dsl is good cable is better and a T1 kicks butt.

I aslo have cable, luvin it baby!!!!

that is true about some satelite deals. I have one and I like it but I do still have to dial up, but I donload thru the sat. Earthlink offers a two way sat. but it is like $50 a month but it may be worth it
