I have a 1970 automatic Ford Bronco and am looking to convert to EFI. I posted a while long while backa and got some good help but I need more. I have a intake manifold, air intake, injectors with harnes all for a 91 mustang. In my bronco I rebuilt this engine 15,000 miles ago and don't want to scrap it and start over. When I built it I bored it out, used chrome molly rings, RV cam and looked to achieve a 9:1 compression ratio.
I have a whole host of questions and I am basically looking for what to do now. I am trying to keep on a budget here so I don't get my wife on my case. I know I need a harness and computer to start but I don't know what type etc. I see them on ebay all the time but don't know what is right for me. I want my truck to run good with as few whistles and bells so less stuff to break at the top of a mountain somewhere.
Any help would be much appreciated. I am not subject to any smog laws so if that makes a difference.
Could anyone out there please help with some advice.
go here www.fordfuelinjection.com. he can make you a harness that will work for a better price then what you can find anywere . unless you make your own. or find a mustang harness and use it. check corral.net or stangnet.com these are mustang sites and have a clasifieds section . guys are always selling there harnesses and ecu's. the ecu you want is an A9L.
