Need some help re: removing the interior engine cover on my 93 Aeroster, electronic all wheel drive, 4.0 Liter. I have the clips removed (1 on drivers side and 2 on passenger side) and the 'console' cup holder, however I'm still unable to wiggle it from beneath the dash. Do I need to remove the center dash portion or anything else or am I missing another hold down of some kind?
Did the trick, I have a coolant leak and wanted to rule out as much as possible anythiing from that angle (freeze plugs, etc...) Long and short I think it is the water pump leaking at the shaft. Thanks again!
You are quite welcome. That's the trouble with the new stuff. Just when you think you've got everything loose, there is always one more thing in the way.
One thing about the Aerostar: it makes me appreciate my other vehicles even more. Nothing beats a straight six, and a wide open engine bay for working on a car.
