IDI vs. Cummins in pulloff

I got a 1989 Dodge 1 ton flatbed with the 12 valve Cummins Turbo diesel and my 89 F250 with the good ol stock IDI. If I hooked them up back to back I was thinking about which would win. Both trucks weigh somewhat about the same since the Dodge has an aluminum flat bed and is 2 wheel drive. What do you guys think?

The Ford has more HP by about 20 HP.
Torque is close to the same.
The heavier of the two will win unless the lighter one has more rubber on the road.

i think its allabout the transmission and the best driver. an automatic will be easier to win with. and the one that starts spinning first will lose."usually the manual will" i'd say hook u the ol' gooseneck with a 10000 lbs farm tractor and see who can chug up the biggest hill you can find the fastest at the top wins. and that still is about who is the best driver. the idi has more power with less throttle than at wide open. most people don't know that, but they do
