Current Rebates and Incentives
I'm about to plunk down more than $30K for an FX4 (finally dumping my 96 Ranger). The dealer found an 04 with the options I want and with the rebate package the price is right. Question, how do I know that the dealer is giving me all the rebates and incentives I qualify for? Do dealers keep some of the rebates to themselves? Most of the websites I visit say "see dealer for details" or "regional rules vary" and to be honest I don't trust them. Currently I'm getting $4K off. I saw a commercial yesterday that said "up to" $5750 off Ford trucks. Any advice?

I personally got 5300$ off, 3500$ main rebate, 1500$ finacing rebate, 300$ contractor rebate, then got them down below invoice, to a total of almost 10k off,,
I used several sources to find out rebates, Ford, [ buiild and price ] KBB.com: and consumer reports, consumer reports will give You the dealer holdback amounts, but are sometimes off on the rebates,
also some of these things are not updated right away..
If you look at the forums find Jeff Clark at Van Bortell Ford, maybe he can give You the up to date info..

My local dealer is advertising a $6k discount on 04 XLT Scabs. Combine that with $3000 rebate, $1500 for financing with FMAC, and $500 private rebate, and your at $11k under MSRP.

Do you have the VIN for the truck you're looking at? Post it here along with your home ZIP code, and I'll be able to tell you ALL the incentives that are available. Make sure you let me know if you're eligible for any of the A/X/Z-plan programs, too.

Hello, I'm new here and going shopping tonight for a new f150. I haven't picked out an exact truck yet, but this vin is pretty close to what I want: 1FTPW14594KD37415. I live in the 60417 zip code. I am eligible for x-plan through my neighbor. Any guidance as to what a good price with current incentives would be appreciated. I realize they are set to change tomorrow. Hopefully they go up! Thanks in advance for any info. I would be paying cash if that makes a differance.

Ford rebate is $2500, plus Ford Credit rebate of $1500. The only other rebates are for current military members, employees of Delphi, and those coming out of a Ford lease.

Sorry, I didn't realize you were getting X-plan. College Grad is not available with an X-plan purchase. Also, in order to get the Ford Credit rebate, you (obviously) have to finance through FMCC. But if you have the cash you can simply pay off the loan immediately (maybe after a month or so).

According to Jeff, the October rebate went to $3000 but my dealer says the finance incentive was reduced to $1000, still totals $4000. Whats the deal with that? Is Ford playing games or is my dealer holding back.

Jeff, Any chance you could tell me any trucks within say 200 miles that meet these specs. having trouble finding this one by using fords site. My zip is 60417. Can go to Illinois, Wisconsin or Indiana. Looking for a 04-lariat-supercab-4x4-6.5' box. same as vin 1FTPX14574FA27799 except in green. dealer i went to hard sold me last night on this one, but gave me 2 grean ones at other dealers but wouldn't say where. If they are close I would just like to drive there and look at them. I like the arizona one, but want to see a green to be sure I don't like that better. one of the vin's he gave me was 1ftpx14574fa2779 if you could tell me what city that one is in.
Also on the first vin I gave above his xplan price was $30,306.20 + $599.99 for crome ford boards that are alredy installed. he finally agreed to a hitch for free as i was driving off the lot. Good deal?? then $3000+$1500 financing rebate for a total of $26,406 out the door before tax.

Sorry about that. 04-lariat-supercab-61/2 box-4x4-5.4L-leather-msrp in the low 34k ballpark. optional equip shows as 40/20/40 lether seat. pref equip 508A, lariat, 5.4l, 4spd auto o/d. 3.73 ratio axle, 7200# gvwr. $34,260 msrp with options. that is the one that is at my local dealer. I love it, but green is my fav color. if i could find the exact truck in green with either the tan or black interior i would like to drive and look at one. again my zip is 60417. near chicago. can travel into indiana or wisconsin as well. thanks in advance.
