Several months back it was discussed about a lower radiator hose rubbing on the steering box or linkage?
I can not find the answers and more importantly, the TSB or Broadcast message that talks about this concern.
I went to the Dieselman page... but couldn't find it listed? I did a quick search here in the history... but was to lazy to read all the posts regarding radiators.
Please post or cut & paste the broadcast message so I can print out. I have a hose rubbing on the linkage all of a sudden and I know there is a new part numebr for a new hose (but I can't find it).
I don't think they ever issued any sort of official warning on it. It was just noticed by anyone that got it replaced under warranty that the newer hoses had a slightly different part number, and didn't get anywhere close to rubbing any more.
I had been checking mine for rubbing after hearing others talk about it, but it didn't have any... OR SO I THOUGHT!! The actual place it rubs is more hidden than I realized. Here are some pictures of where mine rubbed on the steering box:
