stereo systems..?

Hey everyone. I just got a 84' Bronco II. Its in very good shape(interior that is) and we're getting ready to paint it. I was just wondering what kinda of stereo systems anyone has put in them besides the stock one. Thanks. Austin

Post stereo systems..?

I've owned my 86 Bronco II for three years now and little by little I've been building a sound system. I've installed a pioneer cd player with remote, a 600 watt high current amp, and 1 ten inch pioneer duel voice coil sub in a home made box. Instead of using the mid-rear 5x7's I installed 5 1/4 in the rear ceiling. The amp powers the front and back speakers on one channel and the sub on the other. It sounds wonderful. The total cost was about $700, which is cheap because I built the box and got a deal on the amp. That's about it as far as my sound. For starters I would recommend purchacing the following in this order; New cd or tape deck( preferably with pre-outs for future up-grades), front and rear speakers, and finally if desired a sub and amp. It all depends on what you like. For instance my sister has blown speakers in her volvo and doesn't mind. Hope this helps.
