Looking at the new and improved Predator still on sale at motorhaven. I have a few questions regarding the diagnostics parts of the tool, specifically the data logging and diesel specific test. Of the "over 100 paramaters" that can be monitored in real time, is high pressure oil pressure one of them? Also, is it capable of performing and KOEO, or KOER tests...like injector buzz, or cylinder contribution tests?
Anybody have a custom tuned predator with an over 100HP tune on it?
I have a Predator, but no custom tunes. I sent it back and I have the 100hp as an option now. I'm not sure what tests are available, but I'll plug it up and see what I can find when I get home and let you know.
From what I understand, they are allowing us to upgrade them ourselves now. I was going to hook it up tonight and see which release I'm at and see if there's anything newer out there.
There must be some new additions that I don't have. My diagnostic choices were:
Read Codes
Clear Codes
Monitor the following:
Diesel EGR
Diesel Evap
Diesel Fuel
Diesel Pats
Diesel Speed Control
Transmission
Log any of the above
I didn't go into any of the monitoring menus to see if there were more options. I was running short on time tonight. If you want me to check any of them out and see if there are any other options, let me know. But I have a feeling it won't do what you're wanting. But I may need an update to get more options.
