My Window tint film is old and purple and I want to remove it. I peeled off a vent window with much difficulty and now I have alot of glue left on the glass. It's not sticky but it's "on there."
What is the easiest way to remove the rest of it since I have an X-cab with sliding rear windows!
Use soap and water, the same solution use to apply the film (5 drops of dish soap to a pint of water) spray it on and scrape it with a new razor blade. Let it soak if it does not come off easy, but it should come right off with ease.

I have also used just regular window cleaner when it is not sticky with a razor blade.
I have also seen products to use to remove the film and glue. I saw some at Walmart the other day. Small bottles. I have used this type of product for film on my homes windows. Got that product at Lowes. Same section as the window tints. This was larger spray bottles.
Thanks, I did it today and used an old spray bottle with water and dishwashing soap. I sprayed and scrapped with some razor blades and got them all off. Not as bad as thought it would have been. I did however cut myself pretty good! Wow, I'm a bleeder!
