Window Tint Removal

Anyone removed tint before? My tint is very old (looks blueish) and it bubbled up in a small part of the window. I've heard some people using a trashbag and some other things to take it off. Anyone have any tips?

Stick newspaper to the tint and keep it wet for a while then use a razor blade scraper.

Wal-Mart sells "Tint-Off" in the automotive section. I used it and a straight razor to remove mine. It works pretty good.

when i took mine off i just took a razor and peeled back a corner, then pulled the tint back and off. from there i took some good window cleaner, and the razor to remove the remaining sticky spots. i did the same process on my buddies pickup too. works good enuf for me.

I used a razor and brake cleaner to remove the glue. I used paper towels to wipe the glue off and I had to work fast. The cleaner might damage any plastic nearby so take precautions.

I know Napa (and probably any other parts stores) sell spray bottles of 'general adhesive remover'. The stuff works great, and it was like 6 dollars for a huge can. You might want to look into that.
