Question Valve Train Geometry?

I have a set of stock 302 non-adjustable rocker type heads that have been reworked with all new valves. The exhaust valves were replaced with a larger O.D. stem. My question is why do the exhaust valves sit lower than the intake valves? To me, this would indicate running lash caps or adjustable pushrods to correct but I didn't think with non adjustable rockers that this would apply. What should I do? Should I buy the stud kit to convert to adjustable....or is this not a concern? The motor is bone stock.

I would talk to your machinest about this before you make any decisions. Maby there is a longer valve available.
