I am figgering out what I want to do to get my bronco up in horspower, so far,
-K&N filter,
-Summit racing muffler,
-Bore out the cats,
-low resistance wires,
-electric fan,
After this do you think I could be at about 215 to 220 horspower??,
I Know these are just some simple bolt ons, but its all I can afford right know.

All those things you listed will help but it won't get you 220hp. you might gain 20hp and definitely see mpg gains, but you will need to get inside the engine to get those kind of numbers, maybe with a good camshaft and head work and some FI tuning you could get those numbers but expect to spend some coin for it!
I am confused, cause the parts I want to order there is a HP and gas increase info next to it,
-Muffler, 15-20hp
-Strait Pipe Cats, 5hp each I asume ( high flow cats are 8 each)
-Igntion Wiring, 6-8hp
-Electric fan, 15-17hp
-K&N,5%
this comes to 199.5
so all this would only round to 20HP max, I don't understand, explain please, thanks
HP boost ratings by manufacturers tend to be embellished. For the gains to be true, the component has to be replacing the limiting component on the engine.
For example, for your muffler to give you a true 15-20 hp gain, everything else has to be optimized first and the existing muffler has to be THE limiting component.
There is no way for anyone to guarantee you that any one component will give you any exact hp increase on your specific application. There are too many variables.
All of the items on your list are good and will give you better performance and fuel economy by making your engine more efficient. Additionally, synthetic oil and lubes will help, as will high quality spark plugs.
The ratings you see in ads for horsepower gains are usually under ideal conditions. Unfortunatly adding horsepower isn't as easy as bolting on 5 new components that say they'll give you a 20 H.P. gain each, for 100 total. If that was the case I think we'd all be running around with vehicles making 50-100 H.P. more than stock. The best way to really find out out how much H.P. you're gaining is to find a place with a dyno and run it on there and see what you get. It's not easy to get a quick 80 H.P. with just bolt on stuff without digging into the engine.
