Help 71 C6 funky shifting

Easy way to tell if its for the modulator line is to start the truck, have a friend stand on the brakes, and get under the truck and see if this line has any vaccum. I just replaced a bad modulator valve on my truck, forgot to hook the line back up , and had exactly what you are describing. Lemme see if i can find a diagram of the tranny and modulator real quick here.
