My daughter got hit in the front right corner of her 1990 BII. I'm familiar with older full size trucks which have bolt on inner fenders and rad support. The corner is bent pretty badly and I don't think I can straighten it. Is there a correct place to cut the old parts off and weld in replacements? Should I be lookoing for new or used parts? Is there a way to measure the position when welding it in place because it doesn't look like there is any way to adjust the fender position side to side for body panel alignment.
The other problem is that the muont for the radius arm is bent. I see it is bolted together in the middle, and riveted to the frame. Can I get another one from a junk yard and just bolt it in, or do I need to somehow rivet it back in place?
Sorry for all the questions - I'm a lot more familiar with mechanical problems than body repair.
